Uganda Tour Operator Issue 2 Weeks Ultimatum, tour operators in Uganda have given government 2 weeks ultimatum to Denounce Dam project proposal which is intended to be constructed at Murchison falls national park. And the proposed project is located within the vicinity of coordinates 2 16″42.6″N,31 41 08 8″E where actually Murchison falls is located. It was simply urged that government by constructing a dam there will be biting the figures that feed tour operators.

Tourism is one of the biggest sectors in Uganda, it accounts for 10% of the GDP and 24% of the exchange inflows. Also, this means it’s the single biggest foreign exchange earner. In addition, the water falls at Murchison Falls National Park offer tourists’ incomparable sights and experiences, that’s why they should be preserved for the future.
